Vantage V3 or Apple Watch Ultra 2?

Hello,

In the next 2 months I plan to change my Vantage V2 watch. I have been using it for about 2 years. In general it is a good watch with ok sensors, nice design, quite light. I mainly use it for running and trail running(up to 50km) but I have also used it for swimming and cycling.

In the near future I would like to switch it with Vantage V3 or Apple Watch Ultra 2.

Are any of you who have switched from V2 to AWU? I understand the Vantage V3 will be released in October and the AWU 2 in September. I know the AWU 2 will not have much major changes from the AWU 1 but I know the sensors are pretty accurate(HR, Elevation etc). My only hold up is the AWU’s weight and size. I have a 165cm circumference wrist. From what I’ve read so far the Vantage V3 will have OLED touchscreen display(I hope it won’t have screen lag like the V2). My wife has the Ignite 3 and the screen is much faster than the V2, pretty good. I know Polar claims to have the first and best HR pulse sensor(over 40 year old) but they have clearly been surpassed in quality by Apple(in just a few years) and even Garmin. On the other hand I like Polar Flow quite a lot. Apple so far doesn’t have anything similar to Polar Flow. And Garmin I don’t mention because I don’t like it(I’ve used Fenix 5 and 945) but I wouldn’t go back to Garmin(no point having many options if it doesn’t work properly). What do you guys think? Is anyone else oscillating between V3 and AWU 2? Thank you.

Edit: The mystery has been solved: AWU 2 has a new S9 processor, higher screen brightness(up to 3000 nits) otherwise nothing significant sensor related(same as on version 1), same 36 hours battery in normal mode only Low Power Mode has changed(from 60 -72 hours). Probably with the new processor and the new watch 10 OS the battery life will increase. Probably with the new processor on board, new sports related options will be added. I’m waiting for the new V3 to see what it surprises us with :).
