Okay so as we all know Klei has plans to bring DST to Mobile Devices at some point in the future. But when it comes to Mobile games I prefer playing mini-game type games, you know stuff like Solitaire or MineSweeper, or Bejeweled, games you can play short sessions with and still have fun. DST (sort of) offers this with the Trade Inn “Curiosities” tab. But when is the last time we got a new mini game in this section of the game?
The new Balatro crossover adds an actual minature version of Balatro into DST to play, and that’s really cool but when DST goes Mobile… a Trade Inn version of this mini-game should be available from the main menus.
I would also like to suggest FOUR additional Mini-Game types, Starting with one of my favorites Air Hockey.
This is a photo of Air Hockey from the IPhone app Arcadia Watch Sports, This (with a DST style design and charm) would be great for both a new Trade Inn game AND as an In-Game Balatro like playable game machine we can play by ourselves (vs Charlie) or against another player.
And on that note: Chess is equally a must! I’ve been wanting an In-Game playable version of DST Chess for years, and I’ve been able to simulate that experience using a checkered floor and Trinkets/Beefalo Dolls, but it would be way better if there were an Official version.
The last two are single player Mini Games I would expect to be able to play from the games Trade Inn Curiosities Tab.

which would make all those Vignettes in the game actually have a cool use besides just being loading screens.
And finally a similar game that is a little bit like that but different: Traffic Jam
Where the objective of the game is to move the vehicles blocking the way to get the objective vehicle out of the puzzle.
I figure Klei could do something fun and creative with that such as instead of different shapes and sizes of cars, they could do Mobs from the constant, Mainly Beefalo and Volt Goats. Then just have your little character like with the Grass Maze mini game slide along the grid trying to escape.
I know that most people see Mini-Games as being a Joke, But DST already has a few… and if DST is going Mobile, a Few more wouldn’t be too ridiculous to ask. <3
