After about five wears, my Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is no more (gasp!). It’s the fastest I’ve ever used up a sample and I wish it contained more juice, but that’s alright. I think that I will be buying a full size soon, potentially this coming Monday.
🎀 My Review 🎀 Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is described on the sample card as a bouquet of delicate peony and rose, accented by the freshness of Calabrian bergamot and adorned by white musks.
The Miss Dior DNA is definitely present in a Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, but Blooming Bouquet opens up with a bright flash of fresh peonies, white roses, and nondescript white florals. The bright burst of florals quickly settlers into a soft, fresh, powdery scent that sits closely and quietly to the skin – like skin that’s been lightly dusted with baby powder. Akin to Miss Dior Eau De Parfum, there is a vintage quality to Blooming Bouquet, but less so.
Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is feminine, floral, soft, powdery, and clean. Whenever I wear Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, it conjures up images of freshly changed sheets, soft white sweaters, pastel night gowns, bright white morning light as winter melts into spring, and marveling at a bouquet of white roses on your dresser as you lotion and powder your body.
As far as longevity goes, I realized that I never noted anything down in my journal about that aspect of the fragrance. I don’t remember it being particularly short or long wearing, but it was on the shorter side (approximately three hours). However, my husband said he could smell it on me for two to three hours after that. It is a floral EDT, so I didn’t expect it to be particularly long-lasting anyways.
Also a fun tidbit since I know some girlies like to know which scents fetch compliments 🌸. My husband loved Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet (and Miss Dior Eau De Parfum!). He noticed and complimented it without my bringing the fragrance to his attention (sometimes I will hold out my wrist or arm and ask him what he thinks of a fragrance) 💕. He also did some dramatic sniffing into my neck while cuddling 😂, which is reserved for his favorite scents on me.
